There was no coffee .
We appreciated our lovely rooms and the staff was friendly. Our junior suite accommodated us perfectly. Service was great throughout the hotel. The restaurant was located within 400 feet.
The whole hotel was very clean and the staff was PROFESSIONAL. We had large room with satellite television, climate control and a mini-fridge-bar. The Pond is close to the property. Best value for the area.

Unfortunately, I will not return to the same or recommend it because of the incorrect use of my credit card by charging the full amount of my accommodation 4 days before my withdrawal, all without notice, knowledge or consent. My credit card details at that time were only used as a guarantee. Not to pass the total charge of my stay, which could have ended earlier. Lousy handling of something so sensitive. Be careful with that. Nothing like this ever happened to me in a hotel

breakfast, concierge and entrance staff. Our accommodation included breakfast. consisted of two fried or scrambled eggs with ham or bacon, toast, juice and coffee or tea. After two days no one wanted to see eggs.. second day there was no tea.. only green and chamomile tea. In short, breakfast lacked variety. staff at the door when we arrived didn't even open the door for our bags and same thing happened when we left. They had an elevator system to avoid going up the stairs and mysteriously when one arrived with the suitcases they disappeared. I had to make a reservation for a van to go to the airport with the concierge staff and day we were leaving I asked the lady at the Front Desk what I had to do, if I stood outside or they told me when I arrived (the latter was the usual thing in other hotels), here the answer was to ask the person at the door to tell you when you arrived. I did it and after a while with my husband we saw a van parked, minutes passed and my husband went to see if it was there. It was indeed! We could have sat forever to be warned. truth is I expected more. We have been to NY several times and based on opinions about this hotel, we decided to pay more for better attention and truth is that we were quite disappointed.
That after giving us a room that didn't correspond, they answered our request to change the room, so that it would coincide with the one I had reserved.
The space for breakfast is very small. You need a dining room.

The highlight is the kindness and friendliness of the staff. The hotel is a short distance from attractions of high cultural and tourist value, as well as good restaurants. The room is spacious and cozy, very well furnished, good quality of cleaning. The breakfast is good but not very varied, it is compensated by the pleasant people who make you feel at home. Remarkable Jackie, who is like a friend who solves everything.
The dining room has windows facing 7th Avenue with street vendors and dirt. Proper interior decoration could lessen the impact of this unhappy scene. Another aspect that surprised us negatively is that on the fourth day the payment is made on the guarantee card, which although it is later resolved, for a few days, the card bill appears with a higher expense than the eventual total expense
